A color pencil artist since 1970, Alex specialized in photo-realistic portraiture and landscapes.
In 2001 she discovered yet another of her many artistic talents: painting glass in vibrant colors with "Pebeo", a water based, non-toxic glass paint. She was inspired by her experience with the colorful Mexican art while growing up and living in El Paso, Texas.
Since then, Alex has created over 2,000 exquisitely hand-painted glassware. Every one of her masterpieces is a unique design and it is signed by her to certify its authenticity.
Alex creates all of her Blooming GlassTM products at her studio in Jantzen Beach, north of Portland, Oregon, USA.
