In 1991, Alex Hargrave began glass painting using "Pebeo," a water based non-toxic paint.  Applied in layers on the outside only, the paint is dried for 48 hours, then oven fired. The glass is  dishwasher safe, but gentle hand washing is recommended to preserve the clarity of the glass.

Each hand painted piece is heirloom quality, highly collectible and signed by the artist. Alex searches various shops for "recycled" glass that lends itself to painting. While two pieces of glass may be identical, each painted piece is unique and can not be duplicated.
